MFS Custom Hi-Speed Planer Kit

Known as the wise man’s downrigger this kit is more effective for high-speed trolling than a downrigger. Rope attaches to the cleat and runs off its own independent line. The line from the rod separates from the planer, allowing the angler to fight the fish freely. Unlike the conventional downrigger, you don’t have to retrieve it each time you hook a fish.
